A tribute to Whitney Houston is planned at the Grammys, after the award-winning singer and actress died suddenly in a US hotel on the eve of the music awards ceremony.
Houston died aged 48 on Saturday (local time), triggering shock and a wave of tributes as music stars gathered in Los Angeles for their annual big bash.
The pop legend, whose hits include I Will Always Love You, was found dead in her room at the Beverly Hilton, hours before a traditional pre-Grammys dinner hosted by veteran producer Clive Davis, who discovered and developed Houston's career.
